1. A guided tour takes you on a journey from Jerusalem along the west coast of Israel. From your hotel in Jerusalem, you will head to Tel Aviv for a guided tour from the ancient Roman capital, Caesarea. This city is located between Tel Aviv and Haifa and has its own majestic history. The once humble port of Phenicia was developed by King Herod into a magnificent harbor and became the main majestic city of Palestine. Caesarea was destroyed by the Baybars of Egypt in the 13th century. Caesarea mentions its prosperity only with archaeological ruins: a Roman amphitheater, an aqueduct, a hippodrome, walls of residential buildings.
2. Continue along the coast to Haifa. This is the third gem on our list, as evidenced by the panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Baha’i Garden. Next, you will head to Rosh Hanikra to the limestone grottoes – white chalk cliffs overlooking the sea.
3. From Rosh Hanikra you will drive to Akko (Acre). The uniqueness of this city is that it is the only city in Western Galilee that has been continuously inhabited for 2 millennia. Ancient peoples such as Greeks, Ottomans, Byzantines, British and Arab crusaders walked on the cobbled streets of Akko.
4. Akko, like the Bahá’í Gardens, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On its territory, there is an eastern market, a beautiful port, and a mosque, which houses the hair of the beard of the Prophet Muhammad. From Akko, you will return by car to the hotel, along Israel’s coastal motorway on the Mediterranean coast.
